The Role: Full Stack Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Founding Full Stack Engineer to join our founding engineering team and drive the core technology behind our AI-powered recruiting platform. In this role, you’ll have significant ownership across front-end and back-end systems, leading key architectural decisions and helping shape the future of our product and engineering culture. What You'll Be Doing

• Design, Build, and Maintain Scalable Systems: Develop     robust, secure, and scalable backend services, REST APIs, and frontend     interfaces. Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability across     the stack.
• Iterate Quickly & Ship Often: Prototype     rapidly, validate with users where possible, gather feedback, and refine.     Speed and learning loops matter at this stage.
• Own Features End-to-End: Take full ownership     of features, from architecture and implementation through deployment,     monitoring, and iteration.
• Contribute to Technical Architecture: Shape     and participate in design discussions, code reviews, and architectural     decisions to help shape the future of our platform.

• Implement and Improve CI/CD Pipelines: Contribute     to automated testing, deployment workflows, and continuous integration     systems to ensure smooth and reliable releases.

• Integrate AI deeply into the product,     including LLM-powered automations, intelligent candidate insights,     summarisation, matching, and decision-support features.

 What You'll Need (Required Qualifications)

• Strong full-stack engineering experience, with solid     proficiency in Node.js/TypeScript and React/Next.js.
• Experience architecting and building scalable systems     including APIs, services, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with databases and understanding     of schema design, indexing, and performance optimization.
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs and     working with authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
• Ability to take ownership end-to-end, from ideation     to deployment and monitoring.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with a     bias for action and iteration.
• Ability to think in systems, designing for     scalability, maintainability, and technical clarity.
• Excellent communication skills. You can explain     trade-offs, document decisions, and collaborate effectively with     non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience working with AI or LLM technologies,     integrating AI features, prompt engineering, or working with vector     databases, embeddings, or model pipelines.
• Experience in early-stage startups, especially in     founding engineering roles.
• Experience designing or contributing to CI/CD     pipelines, analytics pipelines, or DevOps tooling.
• Strong eye for UX and frontend polish, especially in     data-rich products.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP,     Render, or Vercel and modern infrastructure tooling.
• Familiarity with recruiting, HR tech, or workflow     automation products.
• An interest in AI, automation, and the future of     work, with ideas on how to reshape the hiring ecosystem.
